Rosecrance Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our therapeutic program, you will be responsible for supervising residents, providing behavioral interventions, and facilitating independent living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage resident behavior, providing appropriate interventions and consequences.
- Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills.
- Responsible for developing and presenting resident education.
- Assist in planning menus and shopping for household items.
- Supervise designated daily activities, including house jobs, study halls, and free time.
- Consult with other staff members to plan daily therapeutic direction.
- Facilitate group discussion sessions and ensure client service records are maintained.
- Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical logs.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the house and resident house jobs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with 12-steps highly desirable.
- Skilled in adult behavioral management techniques.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Ability to navigate and document in electronic healthcare records.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.
