Job Summary

Rosecrance Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our therapeutic program, you will be responsible for supervising residents, providing behavioral interventions, and facilitating independent living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage resident behavior, providing appropriate interventions and consequences.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills.
  • Responsible for developing and presenting resident education.
  • Assist in planning menus and shopping for household items.
  • Supervise designated daily activities, including house jobs, study halls, and free time.
  • Consult with other staff members to plan daily therapeutic direction.
  • Facilitate group discussion sessions and ensure client service records are maintained.
  • Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical logs.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the house and resident house jobs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with 12-steps highly desirable.
  • Skilled in adult behavioral management techniques.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Ability to navigate and document in electronic healthcare records.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.
