Job Overview
As a software engineer with a passion for machine learning and AI, you'll join a talented team of engineers who are working together to make Siri and Apple products smarter for our users. You'll have the opportunity to work with petabytes of data, millions of queries per second, and help shape the future of our products.

Description
We design, build, and maintain infrastructure to support features that empower billions of Apple users. Our team processes billions of requests every day across our web crawl stack. We rely on our microservice-based architecture to support multimodal crawl, which allows us to download billions of records to support various search features across Apple. This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed services, as well as experience with petabyte-scale data processing and building data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable distributed services
Experience with petabyte-scale data processing & building data pipelines
Experience with AWS Services such as Amazon S3, EC2, EKS
Excellent interpersonal skills able to work independently as well as cross-functionally

What You'll Need
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Strong coding skills and experience with data structures and algorithms
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Web Crawl is a plus

Our competitive salary range is between $143,100 and $264,200, based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
