Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team at GPAC. As a BCBA, you will play a key role in developing and overseeing behavior intervention programs, conducting assessments, training staff, collaborating with families and caregivers, and ensuring the delivery of effective, person-centered services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention programs for clients, ensuring data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to behavior technicians and other staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and continuity of care, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate progress, modify interventions as needed, and make informed decisions, driving positive outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA), participating in professional development activities and staying up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field is necessary.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a BCBA in a clinical or educational setting is required.
  • Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions are essential.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team is crucial.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis using ABA methodologies and tools is required.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to ABA services is necessary.
