Job Summary:
Innova Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Manager to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. As a Construction Manager, you will report to the project's Program Manager and be responsible for the organization, direction, supervision, and coordination of construction activities on the depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for work procedures, scheduling, cost control, project specification conformity, establishment of manpower levels, monitoring, and implementation of safety programs, project conformance to national, local, and/or company building codes, and the maintenance of accurate records.
- Implements the construction portion of the assigned project through day-to-day direction of all field activities and is responsible for all job site activities.
- Ensures timely and efficient execution of fieldwork.
- Acts as the primary customer contact for all construction project field activities.
- Ensures all construction follows design specifications, is completed on schedule, adheres to budget, meets accounting requirements, and is built to quality standards.
- Will function as a Project Manager on an engineering/procurement/construction management project.
- Under minimal supervision, manages small to medium-size construction across the depot.
- Under minimal supervision, establishes field objectives and procedures within company guidelines as necessitated by conditions at the job site.
- Assigns, supervises, and directs work activities of assigned personnel.
- Responsible for performance evaluations of assigned personnel.
- Responsible for training and development of assigned personnel.
- Other: Reviews work of assigned personnel for compliance with policies and procedures, effective coordination, technical accuracy, safety, surety, and for attainment of objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a construction or related discipline or demonstrated combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Must have 8+ years of construction and project-related experience.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of all engineering disciplines, construction technologies, and job site management.
- Must be willing and able to work in an industrial environment that is in close proximity to and/or in a munition's demilitarization facility.
- This is a journey-level and the first level of Construction Management.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to operate a computerized-based terminal and proficient with Microsoft applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must possess the ability to formulate reports, procedures, and written instructions.
- Must maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position, to include any HWAD drill, contingency, and/or emergency requirement.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) site access.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Must also be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of government security clearance as well as a clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and be favorably vetted through the NCIC III System.
