Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and trash removal.
  • Work with the Environmental Services Director to ensure community spaces are maintained and kept tidy.
  • Collect and launder soiled linens in accordance with policies and regulations designed to protect the health and hygiene of our residents and team members.
  • Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.
  • Report supply and equipment needs to Supervisor and restock/replenish supplies as needed.
  • Work in coordination with maintenance to report any necessary repairs noticed during the workday.
  • Ensure effective communication is being utilized by community staff with the residents' families concerning residents' care, encompassing their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work well with others and take direction from management, as well as take initiative with the capability to engage in conflict intervention and resolution for residents, families, employees, and others as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • CPR or BLS certificate preferred.
