Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
- Carry out repairs and replacements of equipment, including pumps, motors, and electrical switches.
- Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
- Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance work practices.
- Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel MEP systems.
- Train and mentor other engineers and staff members as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
- Supervisory experience is not required.
