Aviation Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Maintenance Engineer to join our team at SIMI STOVE LIMITED.
As an Aviation Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing general to complex maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft and related systems. This will include, but not limited to, removal and installation of panels and components, repair work, and sheet metal repair or installation.
You will also perform aircraft mechanic duties that require an advanced level of knowledge, training of junior level technicians, or troubleshooting repairs. This will involve examining, disassembling, and inspecting engines, parts, or other components for wear, warping, breaks, leaks, or other non-conformities or deficiencies.
Additional responsibilities will include assembling and installing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools. You will also service and maintain aircraft systems by performing tasks such as flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
Furthermore, you will repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts, such as wings and fuselage, rigging, and hydraulic units. You will also test engine and system operations using testing equipment and listen to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions.
As an Aviation Maintenance Engineer, you will also be responsible for removing engines from aircraft or installing engines using hoist or forklift trucks. You will disassemble and modify aircraft structures, systems, or components following drawings, engineering orders, and technical publications.
You will read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Additionally, you will adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.
Moreover, you will maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling when required. You will also work independently on projects when required.
