Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Powder Coating Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our automated powder coating line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality coated products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Production: Oversee the daily operations of the powder coating line, ensuring that production meets quality and productivity standards.
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain Equipment: Troubleshoot and maintain the powder coating equipment, working closely with vendors and personnel to resolve issues and optimize performance.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train and develop staff on proper procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and Control Processes: Monitor and control pretreatment chemical levels, dry off and curing oven temperatures, and other critical process parameters to ensure optimal results.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and that the production area is maintained in a safe and compliant manner.
Requirements
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Technical Knowledge and Skills: Have a working knowledge of conveyor systems, pretreatment chemical wash systems, dry off and curing oven operation, and other relevant equipment and processes.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach, and perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Powder Coating Equipment: Have experience with powder coating equipment, including conveyor systems, pretreatment chemical wash systems, and dry off and curing ovens.
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Procedures: Have knowledge of quality control procedures, including inspection and testing protocols.
