About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at WMC Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care and Support: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately record patient vital signs, medical history, and treatment plans in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with Medical Procedures: Support licensed personnel with various medical procedures, such as non-sterile dressing changes, Foley catheter care, and EKGs.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and respectful communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience working as a nursing assistant preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS preferred, CNA certification preferred.
