Nursing Assistant Job Summary

To provide high-quality patient care and support to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist nursing staff in providing physical and emotional care to patients, including vital sign monitoring and documentation.
  • Participate in unit and team huddles to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Perform procedures within scope of practice, including non-sterile dressing changes, Foley catheter care, and EKGs.
  • Document patient information accurately and consistently, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assist with emergency situations, such as code blues and patient transports.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience working as a nursing assistant, preferred.
  • High School or Equivalent, required.
  • BLS, preferred.
  • CNA certification, preferred.
