Data Collection Specialist

The Buffalo Trace Area Development District is seeking a part-time Data Collection Specialist to assist with data collection in Bracken, Fleming, Lewis, Mason, and Robertson Counties.
As a Data Collection Specialist, you will work under the general direction of the Planning and Development Director to provide data collection assistance for the Safe Streets for All Grant. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting data on road safety hazards along specified roadways within the BTADD region using Survey123 field app. You will also be responsible for field review, identification of safety hazards, and data entry using a tablet with GPS and camera capabilities. The collected data will be utilized in the development of a road safety action plan, which will identify safety improvements for the aforementioned counties.
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members. Additionally, you should be able to work flexible hours, including 10-12 hour shifts, and be comfortable using an iPad and various applications.

Requirements
- Valid driving license
- Ability to be insured under the agency vehicle insurance policy
- Flexible schedule, including 10-12 hour shifts
- Experience with data collection and entry
- Familiarity with Survey123 field app and ArcGIS suite of products
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $25,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. Additional benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and opportunities for professional growth and development. Estimated annual salary: $52,000 - $65,000 based on location (Maysville, KY).
