Job Summary:

The Clinical Education Specialist RN is responsible for enhancing clinical practice through planning, developing, and conducting education programs for providers and other key clinical services staff. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of programs and providing guidance to staff and key leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate assessment and identification of ongoing learning needs for staff development programs.
  • Design and deliver programs that support the organization's mission, vision, values, and strategic goals, implemented using the organization's framework for professional clinical practice and development.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to develop and implement education programs that meet the needs of the organization and its patients.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and key leaders to ensure the effective implementation of education programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Current Nursing License applicable to the State of Texas.
  • At least three (3) years of RN clinical education experience required.
