Tyler Family Circle of Care is a network of eight community health centers providing family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, OBGYN, mental health, substance use, dental, and social services in East Texas.
We are a federally qualified health center (FQHC) serving Tyler, Jacksonville, and Athens, Texas, and the surrounding communities. Our team consists of 220 employees and 90 contractors and residents working at our clinics. We strive to deliver high-quality care to our patients while fostering a collaborative environment among our staff.

Salary and Benefits
This position comes with a competitive salary and benefits package. The compensation for this role is estimated to be around $250,000 per year, considering the market rate for a Chief Medical Officer in Tyler, Texas. Additionally, all sites are National Health Service Corps (NHSC) sites, making them eligible for federal student loan repayment programs.

Job Description
The ideal candidate will serve as a full-time Chief Medical Officer, responsible for 70% direct patient care and 30% administrative tasks. This role reports directly to the CEO and is a member of the Executive Team. As a Chief Medical Officer, you will work closely with our healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient care, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic growth plans for our organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  1. A minimum of five years' clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
  2. Board certification in Family Medicine or a related field.
  3. Epic EHR experience is a plus.
  4. Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
