Cath Lab Nurse Specialist

The Cath Lab Nurse Specialist at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of one year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
- Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
Requirements:
- Tennessee or compact state RN license in good standing
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelors preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required within 90 days
- Minimum 1 year previous Cath Lab experience required
