About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Education: Assess learning needs of patients/family/significant others, plan and provide appropriate instruction using applicable teaching methods, assess and document patient/family/significant other response to teaching.
  • Clinical Skills: Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge through formal and independent learning activities, seeking experiences to maintain and develop clinical and professional skills and knowledge.
  • Nursing Expertise: Demonstrate leadership skills, commitment to professional accountability and growth, and promote a culture of learning and growth.
Requirements
  • Licensure and Education: Current and unobstructed New York State Registered Nurse (NY Hospitals) or Connecticut Registered Nurse License (CT Hospitals), and an Associate's Level Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Certifications: American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
