Nursing Faculty

We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Faculty - Clinical to join our team at Galen College of Nursing. As a Nursing Faculty - Clinical, you will be responsible for facilitating learning and learner development, using assessment and evaluation strategies, and participating in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.

• Effectively facilitate learning and learner development by creating an environment that fosters students' learning and achievement of desired student learning and program outcomes.
• Implement a variety of teaching strategies appropriate to learner needs, desired learner outcomes, content, and context.
• Use information technologies and eLearning technology to support the teaching-learning process.
• Provide resources to students that help meet their individual learning needs.
• Help students develop as nurses and integrate the values and behaviors expected of those who fulfill that role.
• Serve as a faculty advisor to assist students in short-term program and goal achievement and long-range career planning.
• Serve as a role model of professional nursing.

• Active, current, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state.
• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
