About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as we seek highly motivated individuals to work in our Norcross, GA office. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials, preferably with ACI, ICC, and DOT certifications. Your salary will be around $55,000-$70,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. Your Responsibilities
As a Construction Materials Quality Control Specialist, your duties will include:
  • Conducting field testing of construction materials according to ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and project specifications.
  • Reviewing blueprints to prepare for field observations on construction sites.
  • Documenting field activities, observations, and testing results on construction projects.
  • Communicating testing results with project management staff, general contractors, and clients.
  • Calibrating field equipment to industry codes and standards.

Requirements
We are seeking candidates who possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of construction testing procedures, and the ability to lift 40-50 lbs. Regular travel out-of-town may be required for short-duration assignments.
