We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at the University of Redlands. As a key member of our financial planning and analysis team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to various departments and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex budget models, including student revenue models and expenditure models.
- Provide financial analysis support to various divisions, departments, and schools, including the School of Education, Marketing & Communications, Facilities, Public Safety, and Risk Management.
- Monitor, analyze, and assist in the negotiation of leases and purchase agreements for facilities and equipment.
- Prepare materials for presentations to the President's Cabinet, Board of Trustees, and other audiences as needed.
- Evaluate the financial impact of proposed projects, strategic objectives, potential new programs, mergers, acquisitions, and assess risks and opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Three (3) years of financial management/analytical experience.
- Advanced-level Microsoft Excel skills, including experience in creating financial models and analyses.
- Valid California Class C driver's license with a good driving record.
- Master's degree in business administration, Certified Public Accountant, or relevant financial certifications.
- Experience with Prophix Software, Business Objects, Data Warehouses, and Ellucian Colleague.
This position is a standard office setting with duties performed primarily in an office environment while sitting at a desk or computer workstation or in meetings.
