Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The Edwin Chattanooga. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of our guest rooms and surrounding corridors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Assist in training and developing housekeeping staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
