Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team at Longterm Health Management Services. As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Dietary Department, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals that meet their nutritional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct all aspects of the Dietary Department, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
  • Supervise and train Dietary Staff to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, and that our residents receive meals that meet their dietary needs.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Monitor and control food costs, and ensure that our Dietary Department is operating within budget.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in food service management or a related field preferred.
  • Food sanitation certification and State of IL Dietary Manager Certification (C.D.M) required.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Dietary Manager or in a related role, with prior experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
