Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, serve, and present meals in line with the Food Safety Program (FSP), catering to the unique preferences and needs of each resident.
- Store food appropriately and ensure proper rotation of food items in storage.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area by adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Assist in monitoring and documenting requirements of the FSP, such as recording temperatures and completing cleaning schedules.
- Clean and maintain kitchenware, including crockery and cutlery.
- Follow the duties outlined in the shift roster.
Essential Qualifications:
- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience in Aged Care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of State Food Handling regulations/HACCP.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must possess a valid working visa.
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations.
