We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team at Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and develop individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing education to patients and families.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to address physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Monitor patient condition and report any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
