Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Seasonal Line Workers at R.D. Offutt Farms. As a key member of our farm labor and operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our harvest season.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Remove foreign material and non-standard product from processing equipment as directed by management.
  • Quality Control: Work the conveyor line ensuring potatoes are graded to various standards and sorted efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Follow tasks and directions given by crew leaders and communicate effectively with management and other team members.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Assist in the maintenance of buildings and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and the employee handbook.
  • Customer Service: Conduct yourself in a professional manner in the presence of customers and community to present a positive image of R.D. Offutt Farms.
  • Professional Development: Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop and advance your knowledge base and skill set.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Requirements:
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position with or without accommodation, including walking on uneven ground at the farm locations.
  • Availability: Must be able to work overtime during harvest season or as the need arises.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
