Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications, both orally and via injections.
- Provide treatments to residents according to physician directives.
- Monitor and document residents' responses to medications and treatments.
- Ensure the proper management and storage of medications and controlled substances.
- Record and report all services rendered.
- Notify supervisors and attending physicians of any changes in residents' conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical records through required documentation.
- Educate residents and their families regarding care protocols.
- Assist in the planning and supervision of nursing staff, assigning daily tasks to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
- Implement and uphold policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and infection control measures.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current nursing license from the State Board of Nursing as an RN or LPN.
- Ability to lead and inspire team members.
- Capable of adapting to a variety of tasks with frequent changes in work schedules.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine interest in providing service.
