Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets and directs patients and visitors: You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Performs clerical duties: You will be responsible for retrieving insurance and patient information, providing forms for tests or interoffice communications, and securing signatures as needed.
  • Enters patient information into the computer: You will accurately and efficiently enter new and established patient information into our computer system.
  • Answers incoming calls and sets appointments: You will be responsible for answering incoming calls, setting appointments for patients, and dispatching messages and/or calls for all employees.
  • Monitors and revises physician schedules: You will ensure that physician schedules are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Establishes payment plans and collects payments: You will work with patients to establish payment plans and collect payments in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year experience in a medical office setting preferred.
