Quality Improvement Nurse

About the Role:
The Quality Improvement (QI) Registered Nurse is a vital member of our team at Aveanna Healthcare, dedicated to ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. As a QI Nurse, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and analyzing quality assurance and improvement procedures to promote positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, as well as applicable accreditation standards, in all Quality Assurance and Improvement activities.
- Ensure the establishment of patient-centered care plans from admission to discharge, promoting a seamless and effective care experience.
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices and services, analyzing data to identify opportunities for collaboration and improvement.
- Assist in the orientation, training, and education of clinical field staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Monitor EMR Reports relating to Oasis, POC, and RAP timeliness, working with managers to develop strategies for meeting deadlines and improving performance.
- Serve as a resource to staff on performance improvement, focusing on accuracy of information, supporting documentation, and overall job performance.
- Export OASIS assessments for specified branch locations weekly and maintain Validation Reports in the Teams folder, identifying patterns of error and recommending action measures.
Qualifications:
- Current license as an RN.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in home health.
- Thorough knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Minimum 1-2 years of OASIS and home health documentation review experience.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
