Nurse Care Specialist

The Primary Purpose of this role is to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. As a member of the INTEGRINURSE INC team, you will be responsible for delivering daily nursing care and services to residents in a respectful and dignified manner.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality nursing care to residents in a manner that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
  • Demonstrate respect, attention, and awareness toward the diversity among the people we serve, including residents, families, caregivers, and visitors.
  • Ensure that residents receive support in accordance with their care plans, which are tailored to meet their unique needs and preferences.
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of solutions.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks and requirements, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance, as well as other needs that may arise.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and respect their rights at all times.
  • Accurately document all activities, including ADLs, in the electronic health record.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse or administration promptly.
  • Turn and position residents as required by their care plans to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Comply with all aspects of residents' rights and report any incidents or evidence of resident abuse or violations of resident rights to the charge nurse or administration immediately.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • They should be knowledgeable about resident care plans and able to provide support in accordance with those plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
