Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures
- Collect, pack, and transport damaged and discarded goods, as well as recalled products
- Load, pack, and segregate materials and waste products
- Operate a Box Truck while visiting retail customer locations
- Segregate, pack, and load materials and waste products for safe transportation
- Engage with customers at each service stop
- Prepare necessary shipping documents in compliance with DOT regulations
- Utilize a laptop, printer, handheld devices, and smartphone to complete tasks
- Conduct projects according to site-specific federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Clean Harbors policies
- Execute jobs at customer locations, including those of Fortune 500 companies
- Ensure final preparation and approval of all projects before shipment, adhering to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies
- Understand and comply with customer-specific disposal restrictions and special packaging requirements
- Verify drum counts and ensure drum conditions meet shipping standards
- Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements
- Adhere to all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
- Observe all company environmental health and safety guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's license is mandatory
- Strong customer service abilities
- Proficiency in using a laptop, handheld devices, printer, and smartphone
- Eligibility to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire, at company expense
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required by the job
- Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination
- Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard regarding facial hair
- Previous experience in commercial driving
- Familiarity with route management
- Experience in manual labor roles
