About the Role

At Five Star Senior Living, we prioritize providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Certified Caregiver - Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our community's seniors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering Medications: You will be responsible for administering daily medications to residents, adhering to state regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Accurately recording medication dosages and times is crucial to ensure seamless resident care.
  • Observing Residents: You will closely monitor residents, documenting any changes in their condition to provide timely interventions.
  • Gathering Samples: Collecting samples for analysis is an essential aspect of your role, supporting informed care decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, although mandatory in certain states, with successful completion of a state-approved Medication Aide course.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old, or the age required by state regulations, whichever is higher.
  • Experience: Strong working experience alone, on a team, and on projects from start to finish, with dedication to the medical field, especially towards working with seniors.
