About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Autism Care Specialist to join our team at Soar Autism Center in Lakewood, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children on the autism spectrum and their families.

Job Summary

The Autism Care Specialist will serve as the primary caregiver for children in a 1:1 setting, teaching new skills and ensuring comprehensive growth. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build connections with young children and their families, and effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in a 1:1 setting
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and guidance rooted in best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine interest and prior experience in childcare roles, such as daycare or nannying, or related educational experiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build connections with young children and their families
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Reliable transportation to training locations and local centers
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
