We are seeking a skilled Chassis Controls Validation Specialist to join our team at Tesla. In this role, you will be responsible for validating and testing safety-critical chassis controls software, including traction control, stability control, steering, and ABS.

As a key member of our validation team, you will work closely with software, controls, and vehicle dynamics engineers to understand requirements, our attribute philosophy, and software/hardware changes. Your primary responsibilities will include executing in-vehicle test cases, creating test cases and procedures, documenting objective and subjective vehicle behavior feedback, and collaborating with engineers on software and hardware changes.

This role requires dynamic and at-limit in-vehicle driving as well as extensive travel to proving grounds around the world (30%). You will be expected to work independently, with minimal day-to-day oversight, and be proficient in software development workflows, including compiling software, changing parameters, and investigating issues.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need excellent written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
