Job Summary: We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity for medical professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to infants, children, and teens.

About the Role: As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 coverage to quickly respond to patient needs, modify treatment plans to prevent complications, and reduce healthcare costs. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical management of hospitalized patients aged 0-18 years
  • Participate in daily rounds and communicate effectively with families, nurses, and other healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in peer review activities
