Job Summary

Delta World Tire Company is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently by qualified technicians and that the service department maintains a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and Repair Vehicles: Diagnose vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience and perform work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate with Customers: Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
  • Recommend Services: Recommend services that are necessary to keep the customer's vehicle in running condition and properly document all recommendations in customer files.
  • Follow Safety Procedures: Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
  • Maintain Certifications: Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
