Job DescriptionThis position involves working as a Special Education Teacher, providing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. The successful candidate will adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests, assess students' skills and determine their educational needs, collaborate with other teachers and parents to ensure students' success, and monitor students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Requirements- A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A valid NH teaching license with a Special Education endorsement is essential.
- Experience working with students with special needs is necessary.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- The salary for this position is estimated at $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and education level.
