Neurobiologist

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurobiologist to join our team at UMASS Chan Medical School. As a key member of our investigative team, you will contribute to our research on addictive and motivated behaviors, with a focus on circuits that converge on and modulate dopaminergic terminals.

**Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing innovative research projects using mouse genetic, viral, optogenetic and photometric methods
• Collaborating with the team to design and implement experiments
• Analyzing and interpreting data, and developing innovative solutions to complex problems

**Requirements:**

• PhD in Neurobiology or related field
  * Strong track record of productivity and publication
  * Experience in mouse handling and modern neurobiology approaches (e.g. optogenetics, chemogenetics, photometry)
