About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Hospital of Orange. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care to patients undergoing labor and delivery, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
