Position Overview:
- Facilitating support for newly arrived refugees through comprehensive case management and resource referrals.
- Greeting refugees upon arrival and assisting with housing arrangements.
- Coordinating available resources and performing client intake assessments.
- Creating individualized plans aimed at achieving self-sufficiency and overseeing financial documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in migration services or social work.
- Proficient communication skills to effectively engage with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
- Understanding of refugee needs and available community resources.
- Strong data entry capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organized with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in human services or a related discipline.
- Additional relevant experience is advantageous.
