Your Role:

The Practical Nursing Specialist (LPN) plays a crucial role in assisting with patient care delivery through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Under the guidance of Registered Nurses (RNs), you will direct and support patient education and activities that align with your qualifications and demonstrated competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate in the assessment, planning, and execution of personalized treatment plans for patients under RN supervision.

Implement clinical and technical care aspects in line with established policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Administer medications and conduct diagnostic tests as per Health Care Practitioner's orders and protocols, utilizing appropriate techniques and procedures.

Assist Health Care Practitioners in medical or minor surgical procedures and implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans as prescribed.

Document nursing encounters using the SOAP format and communicate relevant information to nursing staff and other pertinent personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in acute medical settings. Licenses/Certifications: Must possess and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the state of employment.

CPR certification is also required.
