About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to anesthesiologists and registered nurses in the preparation, care, maintenance, and availability of anesthesia supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare and assemble anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures using sterile technique.
  • Perform daily care and routine maintenance of anesthesia-related equipment.
  • Inspect for damage and repair, and report equipment for repair and safety hazards.
  • Verify the performance of airway and monitoring equipment for constant readiness.
  • Document testing of equipment and instruments as required for compliance.
  • Inventories, orders, stocks, and ensures the ready availability of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  • Maintains a sterile field for anesthesia services.
  • Ensures adherence to the sterile field by applying principles of aseptic techniques.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Technical Degree or Diploma in Anesthesia Technology, Emergency Medical Technology (EMT), Nursing - LPN, or Surgical Technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or in clinical healthcare (acute or hospital).
  • Certified Anesthesia Technician - American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians.
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association.
