Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Premier Global Links. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a vital member of our emergency care team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and stabilizing patients who require urgent medical attention. This full-time night shift position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and families during critical moments.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including initial assessment, triage, and implementation of care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and manage emergency situations with confidence and skill.
- Educate patients and their families on discharge instructions and care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment in the Emergency Department.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in an emergency setting as a CNA, Tech, LPN, or RN.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- ACLS: Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification for Healthcare Providers or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle multiple patients and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure and in high-stress situations.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and improving patient outcomes.
- Willingness to work night shifts and be flexible with scheduling needs.
