Firefly Health is a pioneering healthcare organization that is redefining the way healthcare is delivered. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Virtual Primary Care Physician to join our innovative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in a virtual setting, utilizing cutting-edge technology to deliver high-quality care.
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess medical concerns, provide diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Oversee Nurse Practitioner collaborative practice agreements and serve as the physician supervisor, participating in daily huddles to ensure patient safety and best outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of evidence-based clinical programs, staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines.
- Serve as an educator and clinical consultant to Firefly colleagues, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance patient care.
- Take home call on a predictable schedule to address patients' urgent health needs, providing timely and effective care.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement and rapid-cycle change, leveraging tools and technologies to optimize healthcare delivery.
- Adhere to Firefly best practices policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Requirements
- Board certification in family or internal medicine.
- Current Massachusetts license to practice as a medical doctor, with eligibility for licensure in 50 states.
- At least five years of experience in a primary care setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
- Experience working effectively on cross-functional teams, with a strong understanding of virtual primary care and its applications.
- Reside in the US, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Strong NP collaborative work.
- Active unrestricted licenses in multiple states.
- Working knowledge of virtual primary care.
- Current Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration and federal DEA registration.
