Job Description

ECS Limited is seeking a skilled Biomedical Scientist to serve as an Advanced Transplantation Research Specialist. This role will involve providing technical advisory support to the Program Manager responsible for managing the THEA Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Advisory Support: Provide expertise to the Program Manager in managing the THEA Program, including conducting technical assessments of the program's progress and identifying potential technical risks.
  • Scientific Advancements: Stay current with the latest scientific and technical developments in whole eye transplantation and related areas, and provide recommendations for incorporating new technologies and techniques into the program.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with the Program Manager, Performers, and other technical advisors involved in the program, and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Ph.D. or Master's degree in biology or a closely-related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience acting in a technical role in a relevant field of research (e.g. ocular regenerative medicine, ophthalmic treatments, organ transplantation, and/or medical device development).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the ARPA Model, excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for scientific discovery.
Estimated Salary:

$140,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
