Position Overview: We are excited to announce the opening of our new distribution center, which will enhance our capacity for delivering finished goods on the East Coast and streamline our supply chain for improved customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct oversight to assigned personnel, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and development monitoring, while ensuring the availability and effective utilization of resources.
  • Foster a safe, efficient, and positive work environment that promotes team growth and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Exemplify and advocate for the company’s vision, core values, and leadership principles.
  • Ensure the seamless movement of materials and finished products in and out of the facility through effective management and staff coordination.
  • Oversee the availability and quality verification of materials to meet operational schedules.
  • Manage the ongoing receipt of materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain database tracking and provide operational status reports.
  • Coordinate the storage and delivery of materials according to established protocols and customer specifications.
  • Supervise timely shipments of materials and finished goods, planning and coordinating resources to meet operational demands.
  • Ensure the integrity of databases and records related to material status.
  • Collaborate with various levels of company personnel and external partners.
  • Uphold safety standards and training within the department, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Implement process improvement tools to enhance group efficiency.
  • Lead or participate in special projects related to receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Propose and develop strategies for improving operational methods and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of ERP systems.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective leadership skills.
  • Capability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Proficiency in Excel and relevant software.
  • Experience in supervisory roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to interact with clients and resolve critical project issues.

Work Environment:

  • Engage in repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, reach, climb, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Occasional sitting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling may be required.
  • May involve handling packaged hazardous materials.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules and overtime as needed.
  • Work in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
