Job Summary:
Nurse First is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Arlington, Virginia. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiovascular procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms and angioplasties
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including catheters and imaging machines
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure smooth procedure execution
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
- 2+ years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days and evenings
