Ambulance Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Specialist to join our team at A-MED Ambulance Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care under physician's orders, regional protocols, and A-MED standards of care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a care planning team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care adhering to physician's orders, regional protocols, and A-MED standards of care.
- Interact with patients in a kind and professional manner.
- Conduct home visits as required for all patients.
- Operate MIH vehicle in accordance with safety regulations, company policies, and federal, state, and local laws.
- Complete equipment checklist at the start of each assigned shift, ensuring compliance with minimum stock requirements and proper function of all equipment.
- Submit daily documentation and paperwork requirements.
- Ensure proper tracking and functioning of deployed A-MED devices at all times.
- Retain necessary permits, licenses, and certifications.
Requirements:
- NREMT and State certified as a Paramedic.
- Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paramedic.
- Good clinical standing, pass the scenarios test, and PT test.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a care planning team.
- Attend Community Paramedic Training and A-MED equipment/device training.
