Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate comprehensive technical training sessions for gas industry clients utilizing a mixed learning methodology that includes both theoretical and hands-on components.
  • Administer Annual Expert Training (AET), conduct Operator Qualification assessments, and oversee gas progression educational programs.
  • Ensure training courses are aligned with the National Gas Association (NGA) Operator Qualifications standards.
  • Leverage Operator Qualification Aging reports to maintain the relevance and effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Provide instruction on gas apparatus, showcasing company-sanctioned installation techniques.
  • Engage with gas industry clients to foster strong relationships with yard coordinators, scheduling personnel, and supervisory staff.
  • Evaluate training requirements linked to the implementation of new procedures and technological advancements.
  • Assist in the design and creation of educational programs tailored for gas industry clients.
  • Collaborate with Pipeline Safety Management to adequately prepare participants for Operator Qualifications.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in PC and MS Office applications for the management of computer-based training and record-keeping.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in the gas sector.
  • Knowledge of gas regulations and procedures, including Federal DOT 192 CFR and the NGA Pipe Joining Manual, is essential.
  • Strong understanding of gas-related equipment is required.
  • Familiarity with computer systems is necessary.
  • Experience in gas field operations is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in managing a field workforce is preferred.
  • Ability to respond to emergency assignments is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
