We operate a full rebuild center in Tennessee for customers who need to outsource their machine overhaul and offer used rebuilt equipment for sale as an alternative to steep new equipment prices.
Job DescriptionThis is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for drafting and modeling parts and assemblies for manufacturing, working closely with vendors, supporting our rebuild team, performing quality control activities for manufactured parts, and maintaining drawings and part numbers in our catalogue.
Key Responsibilities:- Drafting and modeling parts and assemblies using 2D and 3D software
- Collaborating with vendors to source high-quality components
- Supporting the rebuild team by creating technical documentation
- Conducting quality control checks on manufactured parts
- Maintaining accurate records of drawings and part numbers
To excel in this role, you will require:
- Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling software (Inventor experience preferred)
- Ability to create digital models from scanned parts (experience a plus)
- Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining technical drawings of manufactured parts
- Basic understanding of design principles, including clearances, component function, and ease of manufacturing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
