We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technician specializing in Electronic Systems Maintenance to contribute to the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Program Management Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a seasoned technician proficient in diagnosing intricate system failures, formulating preventive maintenance strategies, mentoring junior technicians, identifying systemic issues, and executing root cause analysis in partnership with engineering teams.
- Oversee a structured program aimed at the professional development of junior technicians.
- Ensure that support equipment, including test measurement and diagnostic tools, is consistently calibrated and maintained across all operational sites.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on systems, including software updates.
- Install, modify, wire, fabricate, and maintain electronic systems.
- Differentiate between hardware and software issues in multi-vendor environments.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology.
- A minimum of 10 years of cumulative experience in electronic equipment testing, with at least eight years dedicated to testing and troubleshooting electronic subsystems within military applications. Experience substitutions include:
- One year of experience for each year of post-secondary education.
- One academic year at a technical school or in an accredited engineering program equates to one year of experience.
Additional Requirements:
- This role necessitates the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
