Maintenance Technician II

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment and robotic systems
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment
  • Complete and document preventative maintenance routines
  • Track and store department inventory
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with clients and operations maintenance team members

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or higher degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
  • Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with powered or non-powered hand tools
  • Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field
  • 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with MHE safety standards and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
