We are seeking a Care Coordinator Specialist to join our team at Gastro Health, one of the largest gastroenterology multi-specialty groups in the United States. With over 130+ locations throughout the country, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to our eligible employees.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and location. As a Care Coordinator Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all administrative tasks and duties for the physician/provider, serving as the liaison or coordinator for patients' medical care, and streamlining patient-physician communications to ensure patient satisfaction.

In addition to your clinical skills, you will also be responsible for scheduling procedures, obtaining authorizations, and requesting medical records from doctors and hospitals. You will work closely with our team of gastroenterologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, and allied health professionals to provide outstanding medical care and an exceptional healthcare experience.

To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred, and at least 2 years of experience as a medical assistant. You should also have knowledge of medical terminology and excellent communication skills.
